D) Great Veg Websites
in Time for Thanksgiving
There are more and more great vegan cooking and
recipe sites out there than ever before. Some even have blogs or forums for
you to ask questions or offer advice to others. Here are just a few we've
recently discovered:
+++FatFree
Vegan Kitchen Lots of recipes,
lots of helpful advice, lots of luscious photographs! This is technically a
blog, but it's so much more.
+++Kids
Get Healthy It's no secret that
American kids are getting fatter and sicker. They're experiencing
"adult-onset" ailments like never before. Get a handle on your kids' health
with the help of this PCRM-sponsored website.
+++Vegan
Ice Cream Paradise Do you have
an ice cream maker you thought you'd never be able to use again? Before you
throw it out or feature it at your next garage sale, check out this
website. The entire site is all about making vegan frozen treats.
+++VegFamily
This is a wonderful website for people who want to spend more time
enjoying their family meals. It offers helpful hints for dealing with
children who aren't necessarily keen on total vegan eating, advice from a
dietician, recipes, articles, and more. Even if you don't have kids, this
is a very interesting and positive site. They even have A
Very Vegan Thanksgiving page.
+++VegWeb
You probably already know about VegWeb, but it's time to rediscover it.
Need a good scrambled tofu recipe? Not sure how to make the "perfect"
vegan pumpkin pie? Having trouble using nutritional yeast? Want some
meal-planning help? You can find answers to any veg-related question
right here.
