B. National Call-in Day for the
Horses
Tuesday, October 16, is a national call-in day for
The American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act (HR 503
in the US House of Representatives, and S 311 in the US Senate).
Tell your federal legislators to support
The American Horse
Slaughter Prevention Act, which aims to put a stop to the
horrors of Mexican and Canadian transport and slaughter. With the
closing of the three American horse slaughter plants, OUR horses are
being shipped across the borders to be slaughtered.
This has to finally end! (For more info on horse
slaughter myths and facts, see the
HSUS.)
