Animal Learn

Part of the mission statement of the St. Louis Animal Rights Team is to educate society about the rights of animals and how we all fit into the web of life. St. Louis Animal Learn is a specialized part of START.

We specialize in speaking to children of all ages about a wide variety of animal-related topics, such as endangered species, the vegetarian/vegan way of life, factory farming, dissection, and many other animal rights-related issues.

One of our most important goals is to help young people feel empowered to make a positive difference for animals and the earth.

If you are interested in having St. Louis Animal Learn speak at your school, youth group, or church, please contact us at info@start4animals.org.

Text Box: Do you want to spread the message of respect for all creatures?  If so, there may be a place for you in Humane Education.

Society has seen an increase in violence initiated by children.  School shootings, bullying of other children, and animal abuse are undeniably linked.  But, children who grow up appreciating the animals and environment around them become well-rounded adults who can appreciate and respect the differences in other people as well.

St. Louis Animal Learn is looking for individuals who believe that teaching a strong humane ethic is as important as teaching math, science, and literature.  We present lessons of love and respect for all animals, from pets to wildlife, and our presentations can be customized for the needs of the individual group or classroom.
